Anne Imhof Wins the 57th Venice Biennale Golden Lion

The jury of the 57thVenice Biennale has awarded Anne Imhof the Golden Lion prize for best national pavilion. The much hyped performance “Faust” drew the crowds that lined up for hours to watch it. “It’s a powerful and disturbing installation that poses urgent questions about our time” the jury said. Anne Imhof also won the 2017 Absolut Art Award.
