Berlin Fashion Week can be a minefield. The shows are hit and miss (mainly miss), the attendees are often wearing questionable stilettos and it it’s safe to say it doesn’t fully represent Berlin style. However, come evening, there are always a plethora of alcohol fuelled activities that allow you to see the German capital on top form.
Photographer George Nebieridze has made it his work to capture Berliners in their natural state (i.e partying). The Tbilisi-born creative took to the sundown events during BFW to shoot the bits you won’t see on Vogue. The team behind the hottest parties in town is Reference Studios (formerly Bureau Haiati). The PR agency headed up by Mumi Haiati, hold the keys to the city’s coolest brands, such as SLEEK favourites Ottolinger and Dumitrascu. Here is a glimpse of Berlin Fashion Week evenings as told through Nebieridze’s beautifully gritty lens.
