Fashion collabs are exciting for a multitude of reasons. Sometimes, they allow two of your favourite labels to team up and create something amazing. Other times, it gives us the opportunity to buy pieces from our most dreamed about designers at a fraction of the price. Below, we’ve highlighted some of this autumn’s most thrilling fashion partnerships. From straight up collaborations to hand-picked selections, read on for the AW17 partnerships you can’t miss.
1. Shop With Sang Woo Kim at MATCHESFASHION.COM
Serving as the inaugural menswear partner to collaborate with MATCHESFASHION.COM, you may remember Sang Woo Kim as the multi-talented model and artist from our SLEEK #53 story on creatives in Berlin. Now, Kim is teaming up with MATCHESFASHION.COM to create a completely shoppable collection of wardrobe must-haves that includes Prada, Balenciaga and Gucci. Shop With Sang Woo Kim now.
2. ERDEM x H&M
Floral fanatics have been counting down the days until ERDEM x H&M’s November 2nd release since it was first announced over the summer. While no real details have been announced just yet, a teaser for the Baz Luhrmann-directed featurette already has us convinced.
3. River Island x Ashish
If we had to sum up the River Island x Ashish collaboration in three words, they would be: sequins, loungewear and puffers. The latest fashion house to join River Island’s Design Forum series, Ashish is bringing gender-neutral cool and tumblr-worthy statement tees to the high street favourite. Shop the collection on River Island’s website now.
4. J.W.Anderson x UNIQLO
A tribute to his Northern Irish roots, Jonathan Anderson has incorporated plenty of chunky cable knits and tartan into his collaboration with UNIQLO. Enthusiasts of UNIQLO’s normcore aesthetic will favour the understated basics, while those who love J.W.Anderson’s signature Rainbow Brite stripes can get their fix, too.
5. Nike x Virgil Abloh
While the Nike x Virgil Abloh “The 10” collaboration has already seen release in London, Milan and Paris, the rest of us are forced to wait until November to cop a pair. The partnership sees Abloh reimagining 10 of Nike’s most popular trainers, including Air Jordans and Nike Airs Max 90. All we can say is if we see someone in these, “Homeboy’s gonna like, get it.”
