Last night at the opening of projektGalerie showrooms and Lucas Carrieri Art Gallery, well-dressed Berlin cool kids listened to a piano concert by Doron Burstein while wandering through the book launch exhibition of photographer Marc Schuhmann’s “Berlin Fashionweek Diary”, or resting in the fertile garden environment set up by artist/architect Swen Kählert for the temporary store of new Italian bag manufacturer Sissi Rossi. Surprisingly disciplined for our German capital, the guests left at a decent time, probably to save their energy for the next days.
The showroom, presenting a selection of 30 international and local designers some of whom you can be sure to never have heard of, such as 72 smalldrive, Andre Lifschutz, Architectual Closing, Bianca Bannach, Little Shilpa, Mangelware, Hanako Narahira, Esther Luckhardt, is open to the public and offers a great shopping opportunity.
