After causing something of a scene last year when (ab)using homeless people as models, Berlin Fashion Week’s enfant terrible Patrick Mohr was expected to shock again. With a little help from DJ Hell, Mohr didn’t fail to deliver: This time, he presented sunbed-tanned bodybuilders and silicone breasted transvestites wearing G-strings, transparent capes, unwearable wood constructions, snails in glass boxes, and, as far as real fashion is concerned, not much more than his signature “Quadrangle Jeans”. We have no idea what made some of the guests leave the show early – maybe they had errantly expected the fashion designer to present fashion design? We stayed until the end, wondering what Mohr will come up next time – conjoined twins, freshly excavated mummies, babies with amputated legs? (SO)
