Legendary eyewear label ic! berlin goes fashion, art and charity and launches the project “wc! berlin”. Based on the motto “we have everything and nothing at the same time”, ic! berlin wants to help some of those people that need us most. 25 international artists each have created their own individual T-shirts, which will be presented tomorrow at the Bebelplatz tent. After the show, the T-shirts will be auctioned off to benefit people with optical diseases and vision problems in Brazil. The auction will take place on the project’s website www.wehavenothing.com so that everybody gets a chance to buy one of the unique items designed by international artists, illustrators, and fashion designers, such as Jim Avignon, Ben Warwick, Andreas Golder, Sarah Heartbo, Helder Suffenplan, Sam Gieben, Danielle de Picciotto, or Aldo Repetto.
For the very first time ic! berlin will take part in a fashion show. In addition to the T-shirt collection we will witness the birth of a black “basic” jeans collection manufactured in the black forest (how fitting, we hope in the truest sense) and a selection of glasses that were created exclusively for the show. Let’s c!
