Yesterday designer Kostas Murkudis presented his capsule collection for Coccinelle at Etage, his brother Andreas’s latest addition to his concept store conglomerate. The handbags are refreshingly down to earth while far from plain. Little spielereien such as chignons and subtle riveting flirt with leather shades of dark green, English green and gold, in addition to Murkudis’ signature nude tones. It is the first time Murkudis has designed women’s handbags and, as he says, one of his „biggest challenges“ to date, but he charmingly adds, “the final touch to my creations is always the person wearing it.” There’s not much you can do wrong when adding that final touch, as every piece is a timeless beauty.
