Prada, Loewe, Issey Miyake and Chanel are just a few of the designer brands stocked at HAUT, a Berlin-based pop-up shop that we are obsessed with that closes it’s doors tomorrow. HAUT is an art collective from London that opened its doors to Berlin’s fashion hungry crowd in Mitte for one month on a whim: “We’ve been collecting unique objects for years and just wanted to sell them at affordable prices.” said one of the collective members. Expect the coolest yard sale you have ever been to, we spied vintage Dior and one-season-old Margiela on our visit.
Alongside the designer vintage clothes, you can also stock up on jewellery-with-a-message, including bronze USB sticks already preloaded with zines, music, text files, images all focusing on London and issues the city is facing, like the rising rent prices and gentrification. After playing shop in Berlin, HAUT is planning on starting an online store, and heading back to London to open another pop-up shop. But before they go, make sure you pop down in the next 24 hours to stock up on their memory stick manifestos and some Margiela.
