Berlin-based photographer and filmmaker, Matt Lambert is continuing his exploration into the softer side of pornography with his new zine and film project with the iconic queer brand Tom of Finland, Pleasure Park. Set at the Echo Park house of Touko Laaksonen, who is better known as Tom of Finland, the zine offers a documentary look at a group of friends and adult performers, and features a performance by Taco Guillen and Latinix members of the East LA underground punk and drag party, Club Scum.
While the project is definitely NSFW, depicting a wide array of sexual acts, it follows in the vein of Lambert’s earlier projects, the VITIUM zine and FLOWER film, which show a different side to queer subculture, emphasising respect, friendship and playfulness. Pleasure Park, whose cast includes Sean Ford, Joey Mills, Angel Rivera, River Wilson and Tannor Reed, will be the image-maker’s fifth publishing project and features illustration and graphic design by Berlin’s Stefan Fähler.
