As part of this year’s Berlin Gallery Weekend, Ruinart is inviting you to join them for a dining experience like no other with champagne crafted by Ruinart, inspired by the art of Dänish artist Jeppe Hein and Michelin star chef Björn Swanson. Since 2008, the Ruinart has invited a renowned artist to visualise an interpretation of the House’s champagnes and this year, the artist was Jeppe Hein. Jeppe Hein’s installation ‘RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW’ calls upon the four elements (earth, fire, air, water) and the five senses (sight, smell, hear, taste, touch) to spark an enlightened and intimate reconnection to our being. Each visitor is given a piece of chalk to touch and draw with, a raisin to taste, a scent to smell; making for a memorable experience about emotion, spirituality and connection.

Bringing the dining experience to new heights, by bringing food and art together through a sensory experience, the public will be able to taste the dishes of Food for Art’s chefs at the Ruinart Pop-up Restaurants Worldwide. ‘Food for Art’ is committed to igniting dialogue between chefs and artists who are working to express the emotions and tastes of an era. This year, five international chefs met with Jeppe Hein at his studio in Berlin. In this collaboration, Hein said, “I tried to open up my universe to these chefs, bringing them into my way of experiencing life, art, and food. I showed them what it means for me to be in the moment, ‘RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW,’ especially with taste, smell, touch, hear and sight.”
