Lucas Christiansen Sells Prints for Ukraine

Photography by Lucas Christiansen

In early February before the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Berlin-based photographer Lucas Christiansen shot an editorial for the March issue of Kyiv-based magazine L’Officiel Ukraine, which explored the feelings of escapism and freedom. A few days before the magazine was supposed to go into print, and the editorial published, Russia invaded Ukraine. As they were unable to published their March issue as planned, Christiansen is offering an image from the editorial to purchase, to support refugees fleeing from the war. All profit from the proceeds of this fundraiser will be donated to UNO-Flüchtlingshilfe, the German partner of the UNHCR – the refugee agency of the United Nations.

The photograph is available as a 21cm x 29.7cm print, printed on Hanemühle Baryta FB 350gsm. Available to purchase on lucaschristiansen.com  from April 17th – May 1st.
