Charlie Stein<\/a>‘s artwork, Virtually Yours (Authentic Self)<\/i><\/a>, created in collaboration with SLEEK, boldly challenges conventional notions of authorship and authenticity.<\/p>\n

With the invention of NFTs, the hope was born for artists to authenticate their work, follow the location of art pieces and provide a fair share for the artists during secondary market sales. Til now, without real success. To reclaim power and ownership, Charlie Stein developed a unique artwork that combines NFTs with her oil on canvas paintings.<\/p>\n

In a departure from tradition, Charlie Stein’s canvas intentionally lacks the customary handwritten signature. Instead, the artist’s authentic mark is acquired in the form of an NFT, eternally inscribed on the Tezos blockchain. This avant-garde connection seamlessly intertwines the physical artwork with the vast expanse of the digital realm, making the artwork only unfold its value when combined.<\/p>\n
