How has the city shaped your sound and attitude?<\/p>\nAce Tee <\/strong> The city is diverse, and that\u2019s exactly what shapes both my sound and my attitude.<\/p>\nSG<\/strong> Your lyrics are often very direct and authentic. Where do you get the courage to speak so openly about personal topics?<\/p>\nAT <\/strong>Neptunes, Kelis, Crazy Cousinz.<\/p>\nSG<\/strong> Which three artists have influenced you the most and why?<\/p>\nAT <\/strong>Neptunes, Kelis, Crazy Cousinz. I\u2019d rather say I\u2019m a child of the 90s and 2000s. I found inspiration in many different environments\u2014whether in choir, producing, or dancing. Everywhere there were influences that opened new doors for me. I saw a lot of different things early on and tried them out, and that\u2019s exactly what defines me today. This diversity is my foundation.<\/p>\nSG<\/strong> How does your creative process work from the initial idea to production? Do you produce your music yourself?<\/p>\nAT<\/strong> For me, it usually starts with a mood or a beat. I produce myself, but I\u2019ve also made tracks with other producers. I write, record, and experiment a lot until it feels right.<\/p>\nSG<\/strong> What’s a stage moment that particularly stuck with you?<\/p>\nAT<\/strong> One of the most beautiful moments was when I realized that fans could really sing my lyrics from beginning to end. How would you describe your personal style?<\/p>\nAT<\/strong> My style is a little apocalyptic, light R&B, brutalism with details, but also super basic and chilled. Sometimes it looks like I\u2019m going on a hunt or fighting aliens in space. At the same time, there\u2019s a 90s video mix in there too. Something in between.<\/p>\nSG<\/strong> Your look is particularly distinguished by your elaborate hairstyles. Do you consider that part of your creative expression too?<\/p>\nAT<\/strong> My hairstyles are definitely part of my creative expression. For me, they\u2019re like a statement and always give me a new look.<\/p>\nSG<\/strong> Jeans are a statement piece in your look. What makes the perfect jeans for you?<\/p>\nAT <\/strong>The perfect jeans have to feel good, be comfortable, and still look nice. Ideally, you can combine them with anything.<\/p>\nSG<\/strong> How important is it to you that your clothing matches your music and message?<\/p>\nAT <\/strong>That\u2019s very important to me, because for me everything belongs together. Sound, look, message\u2014it\u2019s all one.<\/p>\nSG<\/strong> Which G-Star piece do you like wearing the most and why?<\/p>\nAT <\/strong>I vibe the most with a classic G-Star baggy jean. It just goes with everything and feels real.<\/p>\nSG<\/strong> Do you see parallels between the creative process of making music and putting together your outfits?<\/p>\nAT <\/strong>Definitely. Both are creative processes. You try things out, mix and match, until you end up with something that truly looks or sounds like you.<\/p>\nSG<\/strong> How important is authenticity to you, both in music and in style?<\/p>\nAT <\/strong>Being authentic is the most important thing for me.
