MIU MIU WOMEN\u2019S TALES #31: “DISCIPLINE”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Miu Miu<\/span><\/span> presents Women\u2019s Tales #31<\/em>, titled \u201c<\/strong>Discipline\u201d<\/strong>, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Mona Fastvold<\/span><\/span><\/strong>. The short film draws on a deeply personal experience: Fastvold reflects on wearing a Miu Miu piece during a moment of anxiety, describing it as a form of emotional armor.<\/p>\n

Using life-size puppets and carefully choreographed movement, Discipline<\/em> portrays a young woman stepping into visibility and independence, still in the process of becoming, unfinished but moving forward. The film explores vulnerability, growth, and self-definition through a poetic, physical language.<\/p>\n

Discipline<\/em> will premiere on February 12, 2026, at Village East by Angelika in New York City, followed by a conversation with the director. The project continues the Miu Miu Women\u2019s Tales<\/em> series, which invites female filmmakers to tell intimate, character-driven stories through their own cinematic lens.<\/p>\n
