The DUFTSTARS are among the fragrance industry\u2019s most influential awards, recognizing not only standout scents but the concepts, aesthetics and narratives behind them. With the nominees for the German Perfume Award DUFTSTARS 2026 now announced, the process opens up further: for the first time, the public plays a more active role in the final decision.<\/p>\n

A total of 54 fragrances from both established brands and emerging names compete across nine categories. The selection is complemented by nominations in Flacon Design, 360\u00b0 Communication, and Creator Award \u2013 underlining how strongly the industry is shaped by visual identity, storytelling, and digital culture.
\nWhile a professional jury has already defined the shortlist in categories such as \u201cPrestige,\u201d \u201cLifestyle,\u201d and \u201cLuxury Niche,\u201d the audience now steps in. Public voting is open until May 24 and will determine, among others, the People\u2019s Choice Award.<\/p>\n

The winners will be announced on June 18, 2026, at the official ceremony in D\u00fcsseldorf, where figures from culture, media, and business come together.<\/p>\n
