\"\"Fashion created in Berlin has long become a popular staple of any self-respecting Avant-garde fashion temple, from New York to Tokyo and Online. But what is it that defines the Berlin fashion scene? In fact, Berlin designers are creating things so versatile, that you can do a whole magazine full of fashion editorials featuring only Berlin labels. Which is exactly what \u0152 Magazine<\/a> has set out to do. Initiated by Arne Eberle, who runs the agency \u00c6, and stylist Rainer Metz, the magazine is published twice a year, bringing together the latest from Berlin designers, as well as stylists and photographers, under the artistic direction of Maven<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Publisher Arne Eberle and Fashion Director Rainer Metz picked one editorial, shot by photographer Robert Bartholot,<\/a> to give sleek readers a sneak preview of what \u0152 is all about. Entitled MARI\u00c4, it is a contemporary homage to the pop qualities of religious iconography. As is often the case with print, this spread was the successful product of a last minute plan B manoeuvre, replacing another editorial that didn\u2019t turn out as expected. Luckily, Bartholot\u2019s work often evolves around the intensity of colours, which also happens to be the overarching theme of \u0152\u2019s second issue.
