London\u2019s head was high as it kicked off the Menswear AW15 season last Friday. London Collections: Men<\/a> presented four robust days of catwalk shows and presentations stopping us from getting too distracted with the slightly off point womenswear show from Galliano for Maison Martin Margiela (that lab coat stole the show for us).<\/p>\n

Designers in London are known for showing young and refreshing concepts. This season continued in this vein, with blurred gender lines, a trip into the history books and a starry-eyed gaze into outer space all hitting the runway. Highlights include Topman who kicked off proceedings in flares with the usual hype from their home city. Christopher Shannon\u2019s stand-out collection was thought-provoking and droll. Craig Green, meanwhile, captivated his audience with an emotionally conscious show and Fashion East presented Central Saint Martins graduate Grace Wales Bonner, who looked towards the renaissance. Jeremy Scott\u2019s Moschino snow show was a fun peak, which was almost<\/strong> topped by the glitter storm at Christopher Bailey\u2019s Burberry finale. All in all, a strong showing – London’s men can feel safe continuing their march to the front of the fashion pack.<\/p>\n
