Directed by Anton Vidokle, it is the second instalment in his trilogy focused on Russian cosmism. The Kazakh production aims to reveal the depth behind the Soviet\u2019s fascination towards the limitations of earthly life.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"size--small\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-28696 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sleek-mag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/theright.jpg\" alt=\"theright\" width=\"716\" height=\"404\" \/> Still from \u201cThe Right\u201d by Assaf Gruber<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cThe Right\u201d by Assaf Gruber<br \/>\nPolish, 11 minutes<\/strong> \nPart four in a series of short films entitled \u201cThe Anonymity of the Night,&#8221; this instalment follows an elderly Polish woman as she requests a transfer from the Caravaggio-laden Old Masters Picture Gallery in Dresden to the more attractive\u00a0Muzeum Sztuki of Lodz. The desire to surround herself among the most renowned leftist Polish avant garde works drives this film by artist Assaf Gruber.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"size--small\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-28691 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sleek-mag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/fugue.jpg\" alt=\"fugue\" width=\"716\" height=\"537\" \/> Still from \u201cFugue\u201d by Kerstin Schroedinger<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cFugue\u201d by Kerstin Schroedinger<br \/>\nEnglish, 8 minutes<\/strong> \nKerstin Schroedinger examines the concept of fugue in this eight-minute clip, which was shown as part of Forum Expanded\u2019s Program 15. The film is a long-term research project that shows the \u201cwhat if\u201d behind modern day Afghanistan.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<iframe src=\"http:\/\/cineuropa.org\/vd.aspx?t=videoembed&amp;l=en&amp;rdID=302995&amp;did=305111&amp;fmt=flv\" width=\"716\" height=\"390\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<strong>\u201cRemainder\u201d by Omer Fast<br \/>\nEnglish, 104 minutes<\/strong> \nThis feature-length offering by Israeli video artist Omer Fast depicts a man who has inexplicably become the receiver of \u00a38.5m as hush money. However, the bribe is unnecessary as the nameless protagonist only recently came out of a coma and has no recollection of his past.
