Her book, an autobiography entitled \u201cNaomi Campbell\u201d and published by Taschen, is presented in\u00a0an extravagantly sculptural design\u00a0of Campbell\u2019s bust created by British pop artist Allen Jones. Split in two volumes, the first is dedicated to showcasing her extensive work over the years while the second is composed of a personal account on the superstar\u2019s life until now. Personal photographs and exclusive images accompany Campbell\u2019s musings to provide in-depth coverage.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8216;At an early age, I understood what it meant to be black. You had to be twice as good&#8217;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThe book is a culmination of my life\u2019s work,\u201d states Campbell. \u201cThe book is a timeline of my career, and has allowed me to remember and give credit to all the wonderful people I\u2019ve had the pleasure of working with over the years.\u201d And Campbell does just that, with a VIP list of mentions that includes Azzedine Ala\u00efa, Princess Diana and Gianni Versace, published in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/fashion\/2016\/mar\/19\/naomi-campbell-modelling-bob-marley-putin-autobiography-extract\" target=\"_blank\">The Guardian<\/a> last weekend. In the revealing excerpt the supermodel also opens up about her private struggles by disclosing that: &#8220;At an early age, I understood what it meant to be black. You had to be twice as good&#8221; and &#8220;I was lucky to have Linda and Christy stand up for me. They told certain designers that if they wanted to have them in their show, they had to book me, too.
