\nNearly six months after\u00a0the release of \u00a0“Mary Ocher + Your Government”, Mary Ocher<\/a>\u00a0debuts the music video for her third track entitled “A New Language”. Directed by fashion photographer (and party guru) Laura Cherrygrove, the film features sparkly silver wigs, fluorescent lights and glow sticks in a dark yet completely silver atmosphere, courtesy of renowned costume and makeup artist, Yoerg Kronnagel. The video almost gives off the illusion that Ocher and the audience are trapped within a disco ball, fitting in perfectly with the song’s synth-pop vibe.
\nThe Mary Ocher + Your Government self-titled release on Klangbad is Mary’s fourth full-length release (and first with her drummer duo). Ocher’s\u00a0new album is still in the works and will be recorded with\u00a0Hans Joachim Irmler of Faust at the Faust studio in Southern\u00a0Germany. But for now, enjoy the new music video as we wait for her next album.
