\nRapper Young Thug is no stranger to fashion. Just last month the musician starred alongside fellow hip-hopper Frank Ocean in a global campaign for Calvin Klein<\/a>. Donning a black dress by the American fashion label, Thug defied contemporary notions of gender\u00a0with a tagline reading\u00a0“I disobey in #mycalvins<\/a>\u201c.
\nThis time around, the Atlanta-based artist dresses down in\u00a0a series of ’70s-inspired tracksuits\u00a0as the new face for Puma<\/a>. Posing alongside a larger than life boombox and a chromed out cruiser, the only thing missing from this retro photo shoot is a towering hi-top. The German sportswear label\u00a0appears to be on quite a roll these days, with this celebrity campaign\u00a0adding to a list that already includes Rihanna and Naomi Campbell in 2016 alone.
\nThe collaboration coincides with Young Thug’s recent announcement<\/a> of a name-change, with the rapper switching his moniker to “No, My Name is Jeffery” for the next week. Take note.
