\nFor its latest collection, Berlin-based eyewear label\u00a0Lunettes Kollektion<\/a> has joined forces with Antwerp’s most innovative fashion brand\u00a0Capara to create a line of eyewear that merges high-tech performance with handmade quality.
\nKnown for its masterful re-imagination of iconic style, Lunettes Kollektion never disappoints on delivering\u00a0classics with a twist. This time is no different, with frames that feature a combination of 3D-printed design and artisanal detailing. Adding to the mix are Vera and Olivera Capara, the sisterly duo behind the eponymous label, who both injected Capara’s eye-catching design into the collection. Each\u00a0minimalist look\u00a0abandons traditional screwed-in rims for seriously seamless shades. The eyewear\u00a0has been released in tandem with\u00a0Capara’s SS17 womenswear collection entitled “Freefall”. In a joint\u00a0lookbook for both collections, each mismatched shape from Lunettes Kollektion has been paired with one of Capara’s\u00a0elegant garments\u00a0for a perfectly balanced contrast in design. Of the collaboration, Lunettes Kollektion founder Uta Geyer says, “Capara has\u00a0taken our latest collection in an exciting direction, by conceptualising\u00a0eyewear into its purest elements. ”
\nTo celebrate the launch of this remarkable collaboration, both brands invite\u00a0intrigued\u00a0fans\u00a0for a viewing<\/a>\u00a0in the Bel Etage<\/strong>, located one floor above Lunettes Kollektion’s Torstrasse boutique on\u00a013 October. There, guests will have an opportunity to speak with the designers on the\u00a0innovative line.
