\nAs one of\u00a0London\u2019s most exciting new designers, Molly Goddard<\/a>\u00a0has come a long way since graduating from Central Saint Martins\u00a0in 2012. She has already shown five seasons of her magical\u00a0collections during London Fashion Week, making her the go-to girl for ultra-feminine designs. Here are five reasons why she is one to watch:<\/em>

1. She won the British Emerging Talent award<\/h3>\n

Last night at The Fashion Awards<\/a> Goddard took home the award for British Emerging Talent, beating a fierce group of nominees including fellow London designers Charles Jeffrey and Faustine Steinmetz. Well done Molly!

2. Fashion girls are obsessed with her dresses<\/h3>\n

Fashion maximalist\u00a0Susie Bubble and\u00a0model\/it-girl of the moment Adwoa Aboah\u00a0commanded the most attention on the red carpet at last night’s event, wearing Goddard’s signature voluminous tulle gowns.

3. She has an innovative approach to art and fashion<\/h3>\n

South London’s\u00a0NOW Gallery<\/a>\u00a0commissioned Molly to create an interactive installation in their space, resulting in one of last month’s most Instagrammed exhibitions. 30-foot-long tulle dresses hung throughout the space, allowing visitors to walk among her colourful works and embroider directly onto the fabric.

4. She celebrates girly-ness and the\u00a0insecurities\u00a0of youth<\/h3>\n

“I do think being girly is great”, the Londoner told Benommen<\/a>.\u00a0Goddard’s approach to fashion is fun, fanciful and honours those awkward teen years, that many would rather forget.

5. She promotes true craftsmanship<\/h3>\n

Goddard\u2018s pieces are based on handwork and traditional techniques like crocheting, pleating and smocking – crafts that have been somewhat lost in today’s speedy production techniques. We love Molly’s sense of nostalgia for these practices.
