A new two-part fashion\u00a0documentary<\/a>,\u00a0entitled\u00a0Inside Dior<\/em>, will air on the first day of New York Fashion Week.<\/em>\u00a0The mini-series will be shown on the British TV channel More 4, and according to the channel, it will \u201cprovide a talking point for discussions about fashion and female identity and how that has changed since Dior launched in the 1940s.\u201d The new doc follows the successful 2015 film,\u00a0Dior and I<\/em> – where the cameras caught Raf Simons’ pre-show emotional state.
\nThis season, we saw a debut\u00a0collection by new\u00a0Creative Director<\/a>, Maria Grazia Chiuri, for the French house. Ethereal pieces were combined with bold slogan t-shirts stating “We Should All Be Feminists”. Chiuri is the first female ever to lead the label – known for its inherently\u00a0feminine aesthetic. The first episode of the two-part doc, revolves around the preparation for Dior’s 70th birthday, while the second installment follows the build up towards Chiuri’s first show for the house.
