Eine neue Ausstellung in der Urban Spree Gallery macht jedoch deutlich, dass Fixed-Gear-R\u00e4der urspr\u00fcnglich die erste Wahl der Rennfahrer waren \u2013 ja sogar eine Notwendigkeit, da Gangschaltungen und die Kettenschalttechnik erst viele Jahre nach der ersten Tour de France erfunden wurden und selbst dann von manchen als dekadenter, b\u00fcrgerlicher und vielleicht sogar unsportlicher Luxus angesehen wurden.<\/p>\n<p>Christoph Reichert, der Organisator der Ausstellung \u201cGrand Boucle\u201d (der Name ist die umgangssprachliche Bezeichnung f\u00fcr die Tour de France), hat eine recht reizvolle Sammlung anachronistischerFahrr\u00e4der zusammengestellt, die an der Decke des Ausstellungsraums h\u00e4ngen, zusammen mit einigen hervorragenden Siebdrucken der Logos namhafter (und inzwischen nicht mehr existierender) Fahrradhersteller: darunter Raleigh aus Nottingham in England, Peugeot aus Paris, Flying Goose und andere weniger bekannte Marken. Au\u00dferdem ist ein wundersch\u00f6nes Magazin zu sehen, dessen Fotos die Entwicklung des Rennrads nachzeichnen, sowie einige eindrucksvolle Aufnahmen von Leopold Fiala, die die sich schl\u00e4ngelnden, schwindelerregenden Serpentinen in den Bergen zeigen, an denen sich im Profi-Radsport wirklich die Spreu vom Weizen trennt.\u00a0Die Ausstellung ist nur noch bis zum 27.
