Effortlessly fusing timeless design with modern cuts, the collaboration is set to be one of the most understated and affordable of AW17. Anderson, a designer on the forefront of bold and graphic design, turns inward for this venture, inspired by his own personal wardrobe preferences. The 32 year-old designer told <em>Vogue:<\/em> &#8220;I shop at Uniqlo religiously. It&#8217;s what I wear everyday&#8221;.<br \/>\nCombining Uniqlo&#8217;s focus on wearability and fabrics with JW Anderson&#8217;s unique creative direction, the collection sees a departure from the conceptual and experimental design we&#8217;ve come to associate with the Northern Irish designer. Honing in on his roots, JW Anderson centres the 33-piece collection around archetypal British design, manifesting in cable knits, tartan, Savile Row stripes and traditional rugby colours. The timeless and functional pieces aim to offer something for every demographic and with a large focus on outerwear, from scarves to knit, duffles to trench coats, the collection provides a smorgasbord of Autumnal attire.<br \/>\nThe JW Anderson x Uniqlo collaboration will be released online and in stores on 21 September 2017.
