But while all eyes were directed towards the runway, street photographer\u00a0Yu Fujiwara had his lens fixed firmly on the roadside, capturing the capital&#8217;s myriad fashion fanatics as they clustered outside venues in the sub-zero climes, or marched\u00a0between shows at a necessarily brisk pace.<br \/>\n&#8220;I\u2019m drawn to people who have their own individual style,&#8221; the image-maker tells Sleek. &#8220;Something about their clothes will capture my imagination, and I&#8217;ll build up a picture of their character and their lifestyle, the things they like.&#8221; Here, Fujiwara has selected some of his favourite snapshots taken over the week, spanning the inimitable Michele Lamy (&#8220;I like everything about Michele&#8217;s outfit\u2014the colours, the textures, the drape and the shapes&#8221;), avant-garde stylist Catherine Baba (&#8220;I always love her flamboyance and decadence&#8221;) and Japanese fashion critic\u00a0Takeji Hirakawa (&#8220;He is always so stylish. I wonder how many scarves he owns&#8230;&#8221;).
