After nearly an entire year of wondering about the rumoured Clueless<\/em> reboot, yesterday was a big day for all lovers of ’90s nostalgia as an announcement<\/a> was made regarding the project. What is\u00a0arguably one of the greatest American teen films of recent history, will be re-made, not as a film as was expected, but as a dramatic mystery series, with Cher Horowitz\u2019s best friend Dionne taking centre stage. According to <\/span>Deadline<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>the reboot will be \u201ca baby pink and bisexual blue-tinted, tiny sunglasses-wearing, oat milk latte\u0301 and Adderall-fueled look at what happens when the high school queen bee Cher disappears and her lifelong No. 2 Dionne steps into Cher\u2019s vacant Air Jordans.\u201d Okay.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, we don\u2019t know about you, but we\u2019re not quite sure how we feel about the beloved 1995 classic remade into what sounds like an erratic spin-off series, one which seems to be going down a dubious \u2018dark\u2019 route.
