Whilst we were still getting to grips with the impact of COVID-19, earlier in the year, the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention released a public guideline imploring everyone to wash their hands for 20 seconds. Alongside this advice, they recommended<\/a> singing the \u2018Happy Birthday\u2019 song twice to ensure that an adequate amount of time was spent. This, however, was not the only music-handwashing crossover of 2020.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Rockstar-Photographer Bryan Adams<\/a> saw this critical time of global health as an opportunity to explore gestures of hygiene through his camera lens. Made in collaboration with KALDEWEI<\/a>, Adams\u2019 images emphasise how the pandemic can only be overcome with unity, centring joined hands as the subject of his photo series. KALDEWEI has prioritised the eco-responsible and hygienic properties of its products, making\u00a0 100% of their products in Germany\u2014such an ethos serves as a further example of how collective
