Or to put it another way: the future is here and it is mesmerizing. TRANSGENESIS, is the title of artist AGNES?<\/a>\u2019s latest immersive art installation curated by Arturo Passacantando, Tommaso de Benedictis and Charlie Mills. Agnes?<\/a> used ceramics and performance to invite viewers to contemplate the relationship between the human body and the ocean.<\/p>\n DNA research and bio technology is soaring to new heights every day. In her current exhibit AGNES? seems to be embracing these rapid developments with ceramic visuals that play with the concept of our bodies no longer being tethered to our original physiognomy. The entire exhibit includes a performance by Agnes? herself, entailing 184 hours of performances, split into 23 back-to-back days, which truly encapsulates the spirit of dedication and perseverance.<\/p>\n The concept behind the art is intriguing enough on its own but the execution truly elevates it to a whole new realm. The Installation features everything from ambient lighting and sound design to choreography by Magnus Westwell, and it all comes together to deliver an atmospheric 3D-experience with all senses engaged.
