Moody and ethereal, Lana Del Rey<\/a>\u2019s recent single, “Watercolor Eyes,” premiered on Sunday night\u2019s episode of Euphoria<\/a>. The single follows the success of albums Chemtrails Over The Country Club<\/em> and Blue Banisters<\/em> (originally titled Rock Candy Sweet) <\/i>both released last year. The beauty of Lana\u2019s melodramatic love songs is the perfect match for the rich, coming of age storylines Euphoria follows \u2013 it was only a matter of time before the two came together.<\/p>\n

Set against the backdrop of Euphoria’s exploration of young love and heartbreak, the dreamy song features lyrics such as \u201cI think that you taste like rock candy \/ Sweet like beaches, leave me all sandy \/ Why do you leave me with watercolor eyes?\u201d<\/em> Created in collaboration with Canadian songwriter Nasi Atweh, “Watercolor Eyes” is hinted to be a reference to the complexities of the bittersweet relationship between Rue and Jules; a relationship filled with fragility, honesty, love and of course, watercolour eyes<\/em>.<\/p>\n
