Bottega Veneta<\/a> has launched its take on Ramadan celebrations through a 3-day majlis at their very own \u2018The Square\u2019 in Dubai, a space that was conceptualised by Lebanese architect and musician Carl Gerges<\/a>. Over the course of three evenings, the Italian Fashion House invited a small handpicked selection of guests from the local art, music and fashion scenes to attend a series of cultural exchanges exploring feelings of community and togetherness, feelings that are embraced during Ramadan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Through a film screening, musical performances, storytelling, poetry and cuisine from a number of local talents, Bottega Veneta celebrated the work of Middle Eastern creatives. Contributors included Carl Gerges<\/a> himself, Shaima Al Tamimi<\/a> (Yemeni East-African visual story-teller), Asma Al Badawi<\/a> (Sudanese-British spoken-word poet), Mustafa the Poet <\/a>(Canadian poet and songwriter), Samer Doumet<\/a> (Lebanese singer, songwriter and music editor).<\/span><\/p>\n

After its debut in Dubai, Bottega is taking \u2018The Square\u2019 concept to cities around the globe, including Tokyo, San Francisco, Shanghai and Sao Paulo, to celebrate local creative
