A mélange of minimalism: Relive Milan Fashion Week courtesy of exclusive artworks from Jiye Kim

Missoni FW21 by Jiye Kim. All Illustrations Courtesy Artist.

Looking at things from a new perspective can often unearth a wealth of surprises. For this reason, we asked Seoul-based illustrator Jiye Kim to depict highlights from the runways of Milan for FW21, in artworks characterised by her minimalistic approach. Kim hones in on the fabrics, shades and textures used through a combination of reduction-emphasis illustration, offering the viewer an uncluttered compilation of the collections. Below, you’ll find a retrospective day-by-day rundown of the featured designers on the MFW schedule as well as Kim’s highlights.
