A sunny corner of Berlin – the courtyard of the recently-opening Grand hotel on Hirtenstraße, to be exact. That’s where Sleek was yesterday for a pleasant moment amid the craziness of the show schedule. There was also another good reason to be there, which was the launch of the new collaboration between Leyla Piedayesh’s much-fancied Lala Berlin and Veuve Clicquot. Those brands had come together to create a desirable silk scarf, limited to just 300 pieces and available from KaDeWe and the Veuve Clicquot Boutique in Hamburg. The models seen here wore them as headscarves – with good reason, because the sun was especially strong that afternoon (and the Veuve Clicquot champagne certainly helped take the edge off the sweltering weather).
