Not all fashion boys and girls get an invite to every show or event and that’s okay – there is still plenty to do and see, cheeks to kiss and new friends to be made. The best conversations are shared over a bottle of natural wine, browsing the best vintage Paris has to offer, or people-watching in the trendy Le Marais. We’ve gathered a list of spots around town and just for fun, some images of the vibes along the way.

SHOPPING
There is no shortage of shops to be explored in Paris and as exciting as it is to see the curated selections and merchandising of renowned stores like The Broken Arm or Tom Greyhound, it’s even more fun to discover lesser-known spots where a little more digging will reward you with absolute gems. Here is a list of stores accidentally discovered and recommended by friends that we absolutely cleaned up in.

William Moricet: The shop owner was unlawfully rude and judgemental, would never spend a dime here.

CULTURE
Paris is known for its deep creative roots, endless galleries and the home to some of the rarest artworks in the world. So, for a long weekend in the city, these are the spots that can’t be missed.
Centre Pompidou for the George Baselitz and Yves Saint Laurent exhibitions running until the end of May 2022. Bourse de Commerce – Pinault Collection for Charles Ray, David Hammons and Nobuyoshi Araki. And of course, the Louvre.
Long lines aren’t for anyone but even the gardens and grounds alone are a great way to chill out from the city. Our recommendation is to start your day early to enjoy a full day experience and you can slowly make your way up to visit the Mona Lisa herself.

Now broke, but totally satisfied, we ate our way through the city and were impressed by every single spot we visited. From the family-style environment at La Marine to the more “scene” crowd at Cafe Charlot, Paris left us with our top button open.

DINING
La Marine: Family style, great food and excellent service. The location makes for a nice post-dinner walk.
Le Clown Bar: Hot off the press, Clown Bar serves up natural wine and simple plates with organic ingredients. The built-in cutlery drawers were a highlight for the kid in us.
Chez Janou: Best staff in town and such a fun environment. The food was so nice we ordered the mussels twice.
Le Charlot: A true classic! You’re bound to have a celebrity sighting here.

Cafe La Perle: John Galliano’s infamous rant made it famous, but the 4 euro glasses of rose doesn’t hurt either!
Hotel Amour: Dinner and drinks on the heated patio, can recommend staying here, too!
Breizh Cafe: Crepes and natural wine, a true delight for lunch.
Le Progres: The ultimate spot to people watch, buy tobacco and drink champagne.
