Designed purely out of recycled materials, the “ACC01” capsule collection combines both ActeTM’s futuristic purism and Mercedes’ large information archive. Producing 28 clothing items, all modular and interchangeable with any collection piece for a full look, ActeTM linked up with the Berlin based label Kasia Kucharska. Their shared vision of a sustainable future while still experimenting with design created a strong synergy expressed in the capsule collection.

Inspired by Mercedes’ timeless designs, the bags, skirts, jackets and hoodies resemble the cars’ interior. The ACC-K01 puffer skirt is reminiscent of one of the car manufacturer’s patented airbags. This play with Mercedes’ visuals paired with intelligent modular design can be seen in the AB-BG01 bag, which also looks like a simple car body, while it has a removable 3D-printed case that can also be changed to fit the bag’s shape. With the collection, the trio collaboration shows an approach to how luxury and purism can coexist in the future, while honoring Mercedes’ history and designs.
