Adidas Follows Gucci and Taps Berlin to Star in Campaign

For AW16, Benjamin Huseby shot Adidas’ new collection in Berlin’s colourful U-Bahn. However, the German brand is not the first fashion label to pay homage to the capital’s vibrant and retro underground stations. Last season Gucci channeled Bowie’s iconic videos with dreamy images by Glen Luchford of 1970s style skateboarding kids. Additionally,  Givenchy hired Berliner Matt Lambert to film their campaign, also located on the humble platform stations.

In other fashion/Berlin news: We are obsessed with this film by local skateboarder Steffen Grap and his model girlfriend Karo Rose for the Gucci 24HourAce campaign. The pair created a VHS-style 60-second homemade video of them hitting the city’s best skate spots for the brand.
