Jochen Schropp, presenter, actor and author (“Queer as f*”), came out in an open letter in Stern magazine in 2018. “I could have done it in one of the well-known tabloid magazines, but it was important to me that my letter was printed in a magazine that is read more by heteronormative men.” He never made a secret of his homosexuality, but he had not spoken about it publicly until then either.
