Ivo Wessel is a software developer by day and a mainstay of the Berlin art community by night. As Wessel doesn’t sell the art he collects, he is reluctant to call himself a collector. The value for him, rather, is in the art itself, and he is more than willing to share the wealth: Wessel organises the “Videoart at Midnight” program at Babylon in Mitte, where he shows work from his collection alongside curator Olaf Stüber. In the second instalment of our ongoing collaboration with Apollo TV, get to know Ivo Wessel as we visit his personal collection.
