For Sleek 45, we asked celebrated ballet dancer Polina Semionova to interpret eight artworks from “The Future Of Memory”, curator Nicolaus Schafhausen’s ongoing exhibition at Kunsthalle Wien. Selected by Schafhausen, interpreted by Semionova and photographed by Sleek’s Editor in Chief Mario Lombardo, the outcome is the combination of languid, rigorous poise and precise, evocative image-making. Polina Semionova, who has worked with all the important dance companies, from the Bolshoi to the American Ballet, is currently principal guest artist at Staatsballett Berlin.
