Berlin Fashion Week AW16 started off with presentations putting forward lots of warm colours for the coldest seasons. See below our part one of our roundup, with photos from Bobby Kolade, Ivanman and Sadak.

Bobby Kolade For Bobby Kolade each collection is a reason for an exuberant celebration – his last year’s show was held at Berghain, while this time the glittering outfits were hanging among disco balls under the roof of Berlin’s Happy Shop. Kolade suggests that in the season AW16 we should wear semi-sporty, semi-glamorous clothes – a mash-sequin blend in the colours of bright yellow, burgundy, dark blue, grey and white. The designer has always mixed colours in a most imaginative way, and the new collection once again verifies his skill.

IVANMAN
The Berlin label chooses colour and simplicity over intricate monochrome tailoring with a collection that mimics autumnal forests. Orange shirts over green turtlenecks is the signature look.

Sadak
For the AW16 offering the Serbian-born designer, Saša Kovacevic, teamed up with Prince Faisal Al Saud in a collection tinged with various shades of brown and camouflage, featuring embroidered head pieces and transparent or open garments for added sass. The trademark range of detailed ethnic-inspired prints is present, though with luscious earth tones, as well as the occasional veil and Islamic-influenced layering.
