The Exhibition Documenting the Cult Berlin Club Night

Berlin’s infamous club scene is the perfect subject for photographers looking to capture magical moments imbued with joy, chaos – and everything in between.

Berlin club night African Acid is the Future  hosts SLEEK collaborator, and DJ Maryama Luccioni  and artist Romain Azzaro, have always had a very particular vision on how the party should be documented.

The party duo banned all digital photography at the nights, and enlisted Berlin photographer, Camille Bokhobza, as the only photographer allowed access to the dancefloor with his analog camera.

Luccioni says “Camille’s vivid and raw vision celebrate the people that make our night what it is. With discretion and a flair for the moment, he is able to capture something authentic”.

Bokhobza’s intimate pictures will be exhibited at SomoS from 29 of November – 1 December,  with an opening night on Saturday 26 November from 5 – 9pm,  open to all, with a free entry, a live performance by Azzaro.

We guarantee this exhibition will make you want to go “out out” after, so pack your dancing shoes.
