“BE SHAMELESS ABOUT TAKING UP SPACE”.
When Beth Ditto launched her first fashion line back in February, she told SLEEK, “Oftentimes, plus-size bodies are either over sexualized or told they must cover up. In reality, it shouldn’t be about looking too big or too small.”
In an industry that teaches plus-size woman that the only option for them is to choose “flattering” pieces that hide their figure, Ditto is a welcome breath of fresh air. So we are delighted that she is back with a second line, this time styled by London fashion designer and party boy, Charles Jeffrey and shot by Dazed and Confused photographer Hanna Moon.
Second time around, Beth has plundered her own wardrobe – and infamous makeup bag – to develop prints and styles.
Embracing imperfections, the campaign cast “real people” via Instagram and captured the beautiful chaos of a rock’n’roll house party assembled in Los Angeles.
The ready-to-wear collection launches today.
