Tapping into the Eighties for her upcoming handbag collection, Paris-based creative Olympia Le-Tan has revealed a series of designs that borrow from the ever-political work of Keith Haring. Available for pre-order now, the autumnal accessories line features hand embroidered renditions of the late New Yorker’s pop art works.
While Haring fans can look forward to seeing their favourite pieces included in Le-Tan’s capsule collection, the fashion designer has also incorporated some of the creative’s lesser-known works into the mix. Sealing the line’s fate as next season’s cool-girl accessory is Chloë Sevigny, who stuns in a recently released campaign photo. On her decision to cast Sevigny as the face for her designs, Le-Tan tells Vogue.com, “Other than being smart and gorgeous, Chloë is the coolest New Yorker there is!” We couldn’t agree more.
