Delve into Collina Strada’s world, where the real meets the unreal

Picture the scene: Jazzelle Zanaughtti is wearing a white dress, paired with flowery leggings and gloves to match when she suddenly morphs into a chameleon. Your vision then cuts to actor and playwright, Jeremy O. Harris wearing a green dress with a yellow and brown, mesh top who similarly morphs into a dinosaur while floating in the middle of a cloudy sunrise. The sky turns from blue to green, as model Aaron Rose Philip turns into a frog. As surreal as this all sounds, it is in fact (virtually) real.

These visuals are a series of narrative progressions from Collina Strada’s AW21 ‘Collina-Mals‘ campaign. Each look is presented with a series of accompanying visual content, driving the viewer into another dimension the longer they stare.

These moments of metamorphosis were inspired by David Mattingly’s ‘Animorphs‘ series. Under the creative co-direction of Hillary Taylor and Charlie Engman, the ‘Collina-Mals’ campaign was bound to have Instagram users feverishly double-tapping.

As the proverbial cherry on top, the brand announced an eye-catching new capsule collection collaboration with Reebok to coincide with New York Fashion Week. The first release from the collection is the ‘Call Mom’ sneakers, which take Reebok’s perenially stylish Classic Leather Legacy silhouette and add touches of Strada’s signature carefree spirit in the form of neon shoelaces and sparkling decorations.

The ‘Call Mom’ Collina Strada x Reebok Classic Leather Legacy are available via Collina Strada from March 31st and Reebok from April 2nd.
