American all star brand, Converse, have teamed up with unlikely avant-garde fashion house, Maison Martin Margiela, for their latest special collaboration collection. Combining the iconic classical forms of the Chuck Taylor All Star and the Jack Purcell, with an entirely hand-painted white colouring of Maison Martin Margiela’s cult look, these are some seriously sleek shoes.
With the white paint chip, chip, chipping away over the top of the Converse signature colours with time and wear, the relationship between these two unlikely brands is celebrated in their own stylised, unique approach for shoe design in this new collection.
