Dries Van Noten celebrates his recent AW17 menswear and womenswear collections with two new books launched today. These beautiful tomes encapsulate the spirit of the collections and document the shows for the season with a series of illustrations and photographs.
The men’s book focuses on the special moment that the brand achieved their goal to present on the stage of the Paris Opera Garnier. The photographs are a montage of commissioned pictures and snaps from social media, capturing the collection through the eyes of the guests. For the women’s, Dries Van Noten worked with British artist Gill Button to capture the tumultuous relationship between and style icon Marchesa Casati and her lover Gabriele d’Annunzio, the inspiration for the line.
