Embracing disruption with Dj Rebekah and the NAKT army

Nietzsche used an Uroboro, a snake biting its own tail, as an esoteric symbol of cyclical time to theorise the doctrine of Eternal Return (Thus Spoke Zarathustra, 1882). But now more than ever, all we want to do is break the circle and ensure a future that liberates us from the constraints of recent challenging months. The snake can then be seen under a different light, as the archetype of rebirth. With its recurring process of skin-shedding, it invites us to believe that change is always possible and, in many occasions, necessary.

Whilst we wait for the beginning of a new era of dance and widespread reopening of clubs, Berlin-based fashion label NAKT launches the Serpent Collection. Released in collaboration with Dj Rebekah, the capsule collection includes different textures, graphics and embroideries following the animalier theme.

The brand, known for their bouncer-proof outfits, form the foundations of their collections with zipped tops, choker—masks, bodysuits, harnesses and more, all strictly in black. NAKT wants us to be ready to embrace disruption and start from fresh. Just as snakes follow the vibrations of hearts, the label wants us to follow the bass thudding across the dance floor.
