By now we’re all too familiar with the emoji’s available in smartphones, which already come in many shades and forms. We tirelessly use these expressive digital caricatures in social media platforms and often stumble upon them in all kinds of shop displays throughout town. However, people were starting to get a little tired of the ubiquitous emojis. Enter California-based art Cantor Fine Art Gallery which has reactivated our obsession with some clever new emojis we wish we could use.
The gallery has released a series of emojis that represent the world-famous artists we love. Some of the artists are shown as emoji portraits while others are represented through the artists’ signature works.
The gallery has no plans to create an emoji keyboard just yet but until then see some of their emojis below.
