Since 1968, ETRO has been bringing colour, spontaneity and unapologetic self-expression together through bohemian fashion. Passionate about its rich heritage, it was important to the Italian luxury fashion house when choosing its Creative Director, that they too would share this passion while elevating it for the contemporary consumer.
The Italian fashion house’s choice is Marco De Vincenzo who will join this 1st of June. De Vincenzo stands out as one of the most innovative designers of the new generation, and after beginning his long-standing collaboration with Fendi in 2000 for the accessories lines, De Vincenzo has worked his way to Head Designer of Leather Goods at Fendi, while running his eponymous women’s ready-to-wear brand that he founded in 2009.
“As part of the brand’s new course, we welcome with enthusiasm the arrival of Marco De Vincenzo. Through his sensitivity for colours, prints and fabrics, we are sure that Marco will be able to translate at best Etro’s extraordinary heritage into new interpretations for the different brand’s collections and also give a new drive to the world of accessories,” says Fabrizio Cardinali, Etro’s Chief Executive Officer.
